"It’s going to be a wild ride for Tara, but I think she’s going to get some more stability—for a little bit anyway," she explained. "And some more power maybe, and I think maybe some happiness for a little bit, but that’s about all I can tell you."
From that vague description it sounds like Tara will be up to her same old tricks. For Rutina's sake, let's hope Tara has less drama in her life, so she can be less annoying and more fun.
For Bon Temp's resident sweetie pie/pushover Sam Trammel, actor Sam said that he doesn't know exactly what "True Blood" Sam will be up to. Yet.
"We just started two weeks ago," Sam said. "We got the first two scripts, they us give us scripts when they’re done, they don’t hold onto them. I’ve read two."
From what he's gathered thus far, via creator Alan Ball and the other writers, is that this season will delve deeper into Sam's shapeshifting.
"I know a couple of big broad stroke things that will happen to me this year, but I don’t know a lot of the specifics," he said. "The whole first…the first ten minutes of the first episode, you’re going to be blown away with what is happening, and that's going to set the tone for the rest of the season," he explained.
In addition to the witchcraft—which we already know about and doesn't sound like Sam gets involved in too early in the season—Sam said we'll be learning more about shapeshifting.
"There’s some interesting stuff with shapeshifting and with my character as far as that power goes," he said. "I can’t say anything more, but we’re going to really push the boundaries of what we‘ve created that to be."
